Getting Started with Solana Devnet

Follow these steps to set up your wallet and get test tokens

Connect Your Wallet to Solana Devnet

Make sure your wallet is connected to the Solana Devnet network to use test tokens.

Backpack Wallet

  1. 1. Open Backpack wallet extension
  2. 2. Click on the settings icon (⚙️) in the top right
  3. 3. Navigate to "Developer Settings"
  4. 4. Toggle "Developer Mode" to ON
  5. 5. Select "Solana Devnet" from the network dropdown
  6. 6. Your wallet is now connected to devnet!

Phantom Wallet

  1. 1. Open Phantom wallet extension
  2. 2. Click on the settings icon (⚙️) in the bottom left
  3. 3. Go to "Developer Settings"
  4. 4. Enable "Testnet Mode"
  5. 5. Go back and click on the network selector (top of wallet)
  6. 6. Select "Devnet" from the dropdown
  7. 7. Your wallet is now connected to devnet!

Get Test Tokens from Faucets

Use these faucets to get free test tokens for development and testing.

SOL (Solana) Faucet

Native Token

Get test SOL for transaction fees and testing

USDC (USD Coin) Faucet

Stablecoin

Get test USDC for purchasing items on the platform

Note: Select "USDC Dev" from the token list

💡 Pro Tips

  • • Make sure your wallet shows "Devnet" in the network selector
  • • You'll need SOL for transaction fees (get at least 2 SOL)
  • • USDC is used for purchasing items (get 100+ USDC for testing)
  • • Test tokens have no real value and are only for development
  • • If faucets are down, try again later or use alternative faucets
